Here i show you some upgrades that i made to my pool. I just got a 19 inch waterway sand filter with a 1 hp pump. One important modification to make is to use a hacksaw to cut off the grey screen in the intake valve fitting. This will allow large debris to pass through to the pump basket instead of getting stuck in that fine strainer and seriously restricting water flow. The navigator, bought at a yard sale for 3.00, works great. I only had to replace one of the a-frame because the wheel split in half. if you want to buy the old filter send me a message. only 30.00
